About this Trip
From the custom-designed itinerary to private transportation and master guides, this trip promises an experience of Ireland and Scotland that is truly one of a kind. Here are a few reasons why you might consider this trip.

An Incredible Itinerary
Our itinerary is comprehensive yet comfortable. We’ve selected two countries to explore, and four cities to use as our launching pads into the surrounding countryside and sites.

All-Inclusive
We’ve packaged everything into the price – flights, deluxe three-star hotels, private transportation, most meals, gratuities and all tour fees and agency fees! We ask that you only bring funds sufficient for daily lunch and souvenirs!

Catholic Tour Guides
This trip is staffed by dedicated Catholics and experienced tour professionals. Your tour director’s command of history and storytelling and our bus driver’s commentary (in Irish brogue) make this trip unique!

Private Transportation
We’ll have our own private bus to take us all throughout Ireland and Scotland – and even on the ferry across the Irish Sea! We will have to walk, however, as most cities don’t have streets bug enough for buses!

June 13 - 19
Part 1- Ireland
On June 13 our flight departs from MSP airport for Dublin. The following morning we arrive in Ireland! We will then spend five days exploring the rich culture, history and legacy of the island known as Eire. We’ll climb mountains that Saint Patrick once climbed, explore medieval castles and ancient monasteries, and witness a culture that is still to this day very hospitable, friendly, and incredibly charming. The great influence of Christianity on this small island will remind us just how great our Catholic faith is, and we will learn how greatly these people embraced the faith and when necessary, even fought for it. After the better part of a week in Ireland we will see the shipyard that build the Titanic in Belfast, and then set sail ourselves on a ferry across the Irish Sea to Scotland!

June 19 - 24
Part 2 - Scotland
The mystical and even magical beauty of ancient Hibernia (Scotland) will enchant the group as our ferry makes its way towards the dock at Cairnryan in south-western Scotland. The following five days will be spent exploring the cities and sites of the Scottish lowlands and eastern coast – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and St. Andrew’s. We will visit the very places that are symbolic of Scotland’s resilience in the face of foreign kings and tyrants, witnessing the battlefields, monuments and tombs of great men and women that tell the story of Scotland’s incredible past and her undying will to be free. We’ll learn the history of this ancient civilization and take away a certain truth that will always remain a part of us – that our true sovereignty lies in our ability to live out our faith and to do so freely and proudly.

Most of our clients who purchase travel insurance will never have to file a claim. This is a very good thing. If you do have to visit a hospital over in Europe, however, it is good to know that you have the world’s largest and best travel insurance provider at your back. They’ll get you in and taken care of quickly.
On another note, the majority of those who cancel their trip with ProRome do so because of an illness or death in their family prior to the trip. This is covered in most of our plans. If nothing else, this is a very good reason to purchase a plan today.
