The Itinerary - An Overview
In order to bring you face to face with the living Church, we’ve arranged hotels in the heart of the Church. In Rome you will lodge near Vatican City for six nights, and in Assisi you will spend three nights in a hotel in the heart of the city.

Orvieto
Upon arrival in Rome we will depart for Orvieto, home to one of Europe’s finest Gothic cathedrals, the Duomo of Orvieto, which serves as a solemn reliquary for the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena.

Assisi
Our pilgrimage to Italy begins in the Seraphic City, Assisi! For two days we will explore this incredible medieval city, following in the footsteps of the great Saints Francis and Clare.

Vatican City
Our guesthouse in Rome – located next to Vatican City – will give us easy access to the heart of the Church, the place of Saint Peter’s martyrdom and the seat of the Vicar of Christ, the Pope.

Rome
This trip features six full days in the Eternal City. We will explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian churches.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!
“The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course.“
