Trip Highlights

Rome
This pilgrimage features five nights in the Eternal City. We will explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian saints and churches.

Vatican City
We will enter more deeply into the history and beauty of our Catholic Faith. Here in the Vatican City, we will experience the heart of the Church, the place of Saint Peter’s martyrdom and the seat of the Vicar of Christ, the Pope!

Orvieto & Assisi
Our pilgrimage continues with a visit to Assisi, stopping in along the way to venerate the Eucharistic Miracle of Orvieto. We will explore this incredible medieval city, following in the footsteps of the great Sts. Francis and Clare.

Siena
We will conclude our pilgrimage with a day trip to the beautiful city of Siena, located in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Here we will explore the life and legacy of Saint Catherine of Siena, the great mystic and Doctor of the Church.

Flight Information
Each person participating in the St. John Paul II Academy 2026 Pilgrimage to Italy is responsible for booking his/her own individual airfare. Guidelines for booking said airfare is as follows.
All pilgrims are asked to book their airfare to and from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). All flights must LAND in Rome either by or before 12:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 and depart after 10am on Saturday March 14, 2026.
These are hard deadlines. If a pilgrim chooses to book a flight that lands in Rome after 12pm on Friday, March 6, then it will be the pilgrim’s responsibility to figure out his/her own transportation to meet up with the group, who will have already begun tours that afternoon. ProRome will not be responsible for transporting pilgrims who land after 12pm on March 6 or who book return airfare before 10am on March 14.
Once you book your airfare, please send your flight confirmation email to office@prorome.com so that we can know when to expect your arrival. Please let us know if you have any questions at all or run into any problems booking your airfare. Thank you very much.
