A Spring Pilgrimage to England & Scotland
April 6 – 14, 2026

The itinerary features four nights total in England, two in Berwick Upon Tweed and two in York, followed by three nights in Scotland, two in St. Andrews and one in Edinburgh. Daily Mass – the cornerstone of each day – will be complemented by a rich Catholic touring program designed to bring the pilgrims face to face with the great saints, martyrs, and cultural heritage of Roman Catholicism. Highlights include Melrose Abbey, St. Cuthbert’s Way, Ampleforth Abbey, St. Margaret Clitherow Shrine, the University of St. Andrews and many more historical and sacred sites throughout the United Kingdom.
Roundtrip airfare and beautiful accommodations will be arranged. A ProRome tour manager will accompany the group throughout the course of the trip, and private bus transportation, Catholic tour guides, all tours and tickets, daily breakfast and daily dinner are included in the price.
Trip Highlights

Durham
Our pilgrimage begins with visit to Melrose Abbey before enjoying one full day in Lindisfarne, visiting the priory and castle there. We then continue on to Durham, where we will tour the 12th century Cathedral and University.

York
We then proceed to York where we will visit the St. Margaret Clitherow Shrine and the famous York Minster Cathedral. On the following day we will be treated to a guided tour the beautiful Ampleforth Abbey.

St. Andrews
We will then have the privilege of spending three days extensively learning about St. Andrews. We’ll tour the local University, Cathedral, and Castle. Additionally, we will walk the Fife Coastal Path from St. Monans to Crail.

Edinburgh
Our pilgrimage concludes in the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh. The Old Town is marked by the ancient streets of the Royal Mile, which run from Edinburgh Palace to the royal residence of Holyrood Palace.

Please see the detailed flight information below. On group bookings, seat selection is not possible, nor can points be used towards a group booking. The group will be allocated a block of seats in the economy cabin of the airplane and seats will be assigned automatically during check-in.

Registration
In order to register, click "Register Now" on the top of this webpage and follow the prompts on the form.
Passports - Upload or Apply Today
After registering we will send you a link to upload your passport. If you do not have a valid passport you must apply ASAP. It can take up to three months for new and renewed passports to arrive. Passports must be valid six (6) months AFTER the date of return to the USA.
Purchase Travel Insurance
ProRome Tours will send you an insurance quote as soon as you register. We strongly suggest that everyone purchase travel insurance.
Prepare Physically
We recommend that pilgrims start walking to prepare for the physical demands of this pilgrimage. We will take the bus whenever possible, but this trip will include approximately 4-7 miles walking, spread throughout the duration of each day.
Pre-Trip Video
Approximately two months before departure, ProRome Tours will send a preparatory pre-trip video to all participants regarding their pilgrimage.
Welcome Boxes
Approximately one month before departure, ProRome Tours will send welcome boxes to your school to be distributed to all trip participants. Items include: name tags, luggage tags, final detailed itineraries and more.
Final Trip Information
Two weeks before departure, ProRome Tours will email each pilgrim the final trip information, which will include the final detailed itineraries, the rooming lists, the e-ticket numbers for your flights (if booked through ProRome) and any other pertinent trip information.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!
