Trip Highlights

Rome
Our trip features five full days in the Eternal City. We’ll explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian churches, and finally the tombs of many saints.

Monte Cassino
We’ll then take a day trip to Monte Cassino, the motherhouse of the Benedictine Order and the burial place of Saint Benedict and his sister Saint Scholastica. Here we will enjoy time for personal prayer and a guided tour.

Assisi & Siena
We now journey to Assisi where we’ll explore this incredible medieval city, following in the footsteps of the great Saints Francis and Clare. We’ll then continue to Siena where we’ll walk in the footsteps of St. Catherine of Siena.

Loreto
On our last day of pilgrimage we will enjoy a day trip to the beautiful town of Loreto. Here we will visit and pray at the Holy House of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Loreto. We will then return to Assisi for our last night in Italy.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!

“The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course.“
