Trip Highlights

Assisi
Our pilgrimage begins with our journey to the city of Assisi, stopping in along the way to venerate the Eucharistic Miracle of Orvieto. We then continue to the Seraphic City where we spend two days entering into the the lives of St. Francis and St. Clare.

San Giovanni Rotondo
After Assisi we travel south to San Giovanni Rotondo, where Saint Padre Pio lived, worked countless miracles and where his incorrupt body now lies. We’ll also have the opportunity to visit the incredible Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel.

Monte Cassino
We’ll then take a day trip to Monte Cassino, the motherhouse of the Benedictine Order and the burial place of Saint Benedict and his sister Saint Scholastica. Here we will enjoy time for personal prayer and a guided tour, before continuing to Rome.

Rome
We’ll conclude our pilgrimage with four nights in the Eternal City. We’ll explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian saints and churches.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!

“The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course.“
