Trip Highlights

Athens
Our pilgrimage begins in the city of Athens, where we will visit the Mars’ Hill, also known as the Areopagus, when Saint Paul preached the Gospel to the gentiles. Additionally, we will tour the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the world-famous Acropolis.

Corinth
We will enjoy a day trip to the ancient city of Corinth, to whom Saint Paul preached and wrote two epistles. We’ll visit sites associated with his apostolic ministry: the Agora, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Odeon, and The Bema and Gallio’s Seat.

Delphi
We will then travel to Delphi, stopping along the way at the Hosios Loucas Monastery, one of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture in Greece. We’ll then continue to Delphi, learning about the Oracle of Delphi and visiting the local museum.

Meteora
We’ll visit the spectacular Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, comprised of monasteries perched on the top of huge monoliths, first built by monks in the 14th century. We’ll conclude our pilgrimage with visits to Veria, Kavala, Philippi, and Thessaloniki.
