Trip Highlights

Assisi
Welcome to Italy! Our pilgrimage begins with our journey to the Seraphic City-Assisi! We will spend two nights here, entering into the remarkable lives of St. Francis and St. Clare, walking in their footsteps and praying at their tombs.

Orvieto
On our way from Assisi to Rome we’ll stop at the beautiful city of Orvieto. Here we’ll visit the Duomo of Orvieto, in which resides the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena, the impetus behind the Feast of Corpus Christi!

Rome
Our pilgrimage continues with six nights in the Eternal City. We’ll explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian saints and churches.

Jubilee of Catechists
We’ll have the incredible opportunity to participate in the Jubilee of Catechists, which includes visiting the Papal Basilicas, attending the special catechist events and joining the Holy Father for a Papal Mass.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!

“The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course.“
