Maurizio Rossi was born in Bologna, Italy in 1969. He studied International Law (BA) at the prestigious Paris West University Nanterre La Défense and went on to study Diplomacy (MA) at the University of Bologna. In 1997 he founded Viaggia Zalay, a cultural association whose main objective is to lead groups in culturally immersing trips around the world. He has visited more than 150 countries and in at least 90 of these nations went as the tour guide. He lived abroad for 16 years, in France, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Morocco and the United States, learning to speak and write fluently in ten different languages. Maurizio is a devout Catholic and is married with two children. He and his family live outside of Bologna in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. He joined ProRome in 2015 and looks forward to serving you in Europe.
