Lucy Taeuber is all the way from Adelaide, South Australia and has spent the last 8 years living in Rome. She left Australia with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Bachelors of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Before leaving the land down under, she worked as a high school teacher and then decided to move to Rome to pursue a deeper understanding of the Church and her teachings.
She has now completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs of Theology at the Angelicum in Rome and is excited to share her passion for the beauty that is the faith with as many people as possible on pilgrimage. After writing a thesis regarding the spirituality of education she is more equipped than ever to share and teach others about the faith through the incredible sites, witness of saints’ lives and inspiring architecture and art which can be seen and adored in every corner of Italy. Having lived in three of the twenty regions and travelled to all but two (Sicily and Sardinia) she loves to share all her culinary, linguistic and historical knowledge with others. Her zest for life and love of all things good and holy makes every trip a joy (even when traffic or a storm hits).
