Trip Highlights
We will walk in the footsteps and pray at the tombs of some of the great saints including St. James, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, Sts. Francisco and Jacinta Marto and more!

Fatima
We begin our pilgrimage with a tour of Lisbon, before continuing to Fatima. Here we will visit the Sanctuary in Fatima and then Valinhos, where the Guardian Angel of Portugal appeared to the Fatima children, and finally Aljustrel, where the Fatima children were born. We’ll also pray at La Capelinha, the chapel built on the exact spot where Our Lady appeared.

Santiago
From Fatima we depart for Santiago de Compostela. Here we will enjoy a tour of the Old Quarter and then the Cathedral, which was built over the remains of St. James more. From Santiago we continue to Covadonga where we will pray at the Basilica and Cave of Our Lady of Covadonga, who aided the Spanish Christians in defeating the Moors.

Segovia & Avila
After Covadonga, we will spend the next two days entering into the holy lives of two spiritual giants – Saint John of the Cross and Saint Teresa of Avila. This part of our pilgrimage will take us to Segovia, then to Avila and finally to Alba de Tormes. In these cities will learn about these Carmelites’ remarkable lives, visit their monasteries and pray at their tombs.

Madrid & Toledo
Leaving Avila, we will take a day trip to the Valley of the Fallen and San Lorenzo del Escorial, the largest Renaissance building in the world. We then continue to the capital and largest city of Spain, Madrid, for an overnight stay, before spending our last full day on pilgrimage in Toledo. Here will take in its historic art and beautiful architecture
